concretehunter, Human, 12 years ago

"Understood" Concrete said. "Do not alert the others"

Concrete turned and walked back towards the elders. This was supposed to be a typical hunt.

"Shal we tell the youngbloods? Super has found more remnants of humans" Concrete said on the Commlink to PredatorV2 and Deathdrop. Deathdrop looked very unhealthy. His posture was slumped and brittle. Concrete crouched and grabbed his canteen handing it to Deathdrop.

"Drink, You will feel better. As for our situation, We should begin moving. We have made our presence to known here"

Waralien, Human, 12 years ago

War followed Gaunt, if anyone could track the Alpha, he could. As Gaunt weaved in and out of War's sight, it brought to mind his time as a young chestburster. The only thing that differed War from Gaunt was that War grew in a lab in some far off planet. It was by remote chance that War happened to land here and be accepted by the dominating Hive. Back then War could remember the first moments he spent on this planet. Avoiding the monstrous beasts that threatened to gut him, the hunter packs that were sent out after him, the noises that filled the jungle air......

That's when it hit War, there were no noises anymore. No crying of birds, howling of beasts, nothing....it was all still. War hissed at Gaunt to stop and listen. If War's suspicions are correct things are about to get interesting.

Peterson, Human, 12 years ago

Sitting strapped in to his command chair Peterson placed a fresh dip into his mouth before loading a fresh mag into his pulse rifle, his company he was calling the shots now, command could go fuck themselves as far as he was concerned. as the APC slowly pulled forward it came to a jolting stop before backing up into the Dropship's belly. hearing the unmistakable latches close around the APC's tire treads the dropship slowly heaved its bay door closed.

"All unit's this is deck commander 03 prepare for TAC DROP 15 and 14, all units clear launch deck" The deck officer said through the hanger comm link. spitting into a bottle Peterson sat back and sighed to himself. "They could never make these things easy" he said to himself.

"ALL UNITS BE ADVISED LAUNCH IN T-MINUS 2 MINUTES, FLIGHT DECK IS CLEAR ON LEFT? LEFT SIDE IS CLEAR, FLIGHT DECK IS CLEAR ON RIGHT? RIGHT SIDE IS CLEAR ALL UNITS STAND BY LAUNCH IN FIVE, FOUR, THREE, TWO, ONE. MARK!" With that the two dropships dropped in a free fall for a short moment before the ships thrusters engaged. "This is Valkyrie 128 we are airborne and enroute to grid coordinates 77.victor .18.S.SE, adjusting to proper heading and follow on my six" the pilot could be heard saying to the second dropship following behind.

As dropship 128 heaved to the ground the bay door was already open, within seconds the first APC had dismounted its dropship and the second was already starting to take off. "Valkyrie 128 this is Omnibus 301, Stay on station we'll call you if we get into any trouble" Peterson said closing the comm channel inside his APC. "Alright ladies and gentlemen, we are aproximatly 15 kilometers from the crash site, apcs will park at aprox 3 kilometers from target, first squad will follow me inside the wreckage, second squad will provide medical support for any wounded that we find, third squad is going to be on guard detail for second squad, fourth squad is staying with the APC's weapons will be armed and ready to cut anything down, that is all Peterson Out!" he said turning his comm device.

tawganator, Human, 12 years ago

The roar of the dropship thundered from above causing Tawganator to give halt to his pace. The jungle sounded of the panic from its inhabitants as the dropship passed over it. Tawganator felt very uneasy about this as the dropship landed far off into the distance. A sense of fear began to take grip over Tawganator's mind as possible scenarios waved through his head. Soon fear was overcome by excitement and bloodlust.

Tawganator ripped through the jungle with a new found energy, passing over felled trees, small plants and even the occasional mini beast. Taking it slow and cautious eluded him as the sound of brushing past leaves and the splashing of puddles served only to push him on.

New smells filled the air and finally Tawganator returned to his cautious self. As he crawled his way further through the undergrowth, Tawganator heard the sounds of something wonderful. He had come across a small group of 4 men that have travelled away from the Titannia in search of help, food or even other passengers that may have survived from the parts of the ship that had broken off as it was crashing. The reasons didn't matter to Tawganator, he had found suitable hosts for the Hive and was eager to do so.

Silently Tawganator maneuvered around his prey careful not alert them to his presence. With utmost care he climbed up a tree that they were going to pass up ahead and positioned himself to strike when ready. Two of the men had metal bars, one had an emergency axe and the other was unarmed. Tawganator laid in wait as the group walked ever closer, unaware of the xenomorphs presence.

Once they were right beneath him, Tawganator attacked. Landing on one of the men with a bar pinning him face down to the ground and struck him in the back. The rest of the group was shocked at the monstrous creature that was crouching over their friend as he screamed in pain over his now broken lower back. The man with the axe came forward but hesitated for a moment to use his weapon for fear of hitting his friend. That moment was all that Tawganator needed to strike him with his sharp tail into the man's belly bringing him to his knees.

The unarmed man just stood there in fear as the other man with a bar came in swinging, battering Tawganator around the head. Tawganator raised his left arm to defend himself from the blows and struck with his right arm towards the man's leg only managing to lightly injure him. As the man continued to deal blows with the metal bar the other man ran off into the jungle to escape. Tawganator couldn't let any of them get away to warn the others so he leapt at the attacking man using his strength and body weight knock him into a nearby tree rendering him unconscious. Tawganator gave chase to the fleeing man.

After a short 7 second chase Tawganator had his prey laying on the ground covered in piss, the man had fainted from the experience of what has happened. Tawganator dragged the man back to the group where all but one was still conscious, the man whom he stabbed in the gut now laying in a ever growing pool of his own blood. Tawganator carried the fainter and the man with the broken back up into the tree where he began covering them in his secretions to keep them in place and to keep them safe from any ground creatures that may come across them.

With the other man still knocked out up against the tree, Tawganator inspected the man that he impaled with his tail earlier. The man was still alive and conscious but just barely. The wound he made was more deep than he had hoped to make when he attacked him. Even if he were to close the man's wound with his secretion it would be not do any good. All what he can do is not let this fresh meal go to waste.

Tawganator began to eat from the man's wound, savouring the sound of the man's almost silent cries of pain. Unlike the small creature he had eaten before, Tawganator was going to take his time here to feast off his live prey for as long as he could. What was only 30 seconds seemed like hours for the dying man before he gave his last breath. With the passing of his meal Tawganator once again entered an frenzy covering himself in the blood of his prey. There it was again. The sound of his peaceful chamber in the Hive sweeping over him like some wonderful drug. But it was fleeting this time and served only to remind him of where he wasn't. This meal had came with a bitter sweet after taste.

Finished with his food Tawganator restrained the remaining man's arms and legs with his secretions and dragged him through the jungle towards the Hive. Any other Drones that pass through the area will surely pick up on the scent that Tawganator had left for them to pick up the remaining two humans. Without being able to take this human through The Hole, Tawganator is going to have to take the long way back. If lucky the man will wake up half way through so he can knock him out again for hitting him with that dam metal bar.

FireHunter, Human, 12 years ago

FireHunter sensed the pheromones of two of its brethren trying to track it, and stopped in its tracks. Turning around it searched for their pheromone signals and found them on the other side of the clearing, walking back to where it came from, the creature was silent, like a looming biological machine.

FireHunter came back out into the clearing once more, and spotted the drone dragging the unconscious woman out of the warped metal and back towards the Hive. With great strides the Alpha made its way back to the metal construct, pulled the dead man from the wreckage, and threw him at the construct, the dead man splattered and dented the side of the construct. FireHunter's lips pulled back in a devilish grin as it waited for Gaunt and War, its two brethren, to arrive.

Deathdrop, Human, 12 years ago

Deathdrop growled and stood up. "Don't patronize me, goddamn you!"

"Easy, old friend-" began PredatorV2, knowing Deathdrop's temper.

"I was hunting when you were at your Mother's tit, you-"

PredatorV2 spoke more loudly this time. "Deathdrop, enough."

Deathdrop knew better than to butt heads with PredatorV2. "Scout the area. Tell us if you find anything."

As PredatorV2 explained the situation further, Deathdrop made his way into the jungle, trying very hard to not stumble.

concretehunter, Human, 12 years ago

"Deathdrop" Concrete said in a loud command.

Deathdrop kept walking. Concretes hard started pounding. It takes balls to confront an elder, Very few have tryed. Deathdrop was much stronger than Concrete.

"There are humans here. There's also most likley Hard meat." Concrete's voice became angry "And the last thing we need is a elder who cant do his job"

Concrete paced up to Deathdrop still walking away. He stuck his hand on his shoulder to stop him. This was probably the single stupidest thing anyone could do. And possibly something that showed how serious concrete was about what he does.

A fist swung round hitting concrete in the face almost cracking Concretes helmet. Concretes arm swung up extending his wristblades straight up and pressed towards Deathdrops throat. He had suddenly realised what he had done.

Deathdrop, Human, 12 years ago

This dispute was escalating far too quickly. It had to end, but a fight was out of the question. Still, Deathdrop knew better than to look weak within earshot of the youngbloods. What was the human expression? Nip it in the bud?

Without a word, Deathdrop took Concretehunter's wrist in his hand, pushed the blades toward his chest and took a small step forward.

As the blades broke his skin, he could feel Concretehunter's wrist trying to pull away; he held it tight. The blades were easily an inch deep.

Waiting until the blood dripped down his chest, he leaned in, looking the younger Yautja dead in the eyes.

"Don't fuck with me."

Releasing Concretehunter's wrist (and blades) at last, Deathdrop stalked into the jungle without another word and cloaked. Ten paces in, out of earshot, he let out a sigh of relief. They bought it.

concretehunter, Human, 12 years ago

Concrete was in shock. The sight of Yautja blood was not new to him. But an elder acting this radically was unaccounted for. He pulled up his wristcomp and send an alert to the youngbloods that we are moving out west. The entire group began silently moving through the trees while PredatorV2 and Concrete paced on the ground.
Concrete took a peice of leaf of a nearby tree and whiped Deathdrops blood of his blades. He rolled it up into a tube and slid it under his chest plate.

Concrete tryed to change his thoughts over to the hunt. Concrete is swift and brutal. Never to use ranged weapons. Concrete has no Plasmacaster, Netgun or speargun. Concrete prefers for people to die at his own hand.

"Are we going to have a problem?" Concrete asked PredatorV2

Waralien, Human, 12 years ago

Gaunt noticed the silence around them as well and proceeded cautiously ahead. They two were formidable creatures, but against so many unknowns, it was suicide.

After awhile they both picked up the scent of the Alpha and hurried forward. Gaunt weaved in and out of the brush easily with his slender, snake-like body while War crashed and tore his way through the foliage. He knew he would regret this, but now was not the time for regrets. Now was the time to prepare for what Xeno's did best.

War and Gaunt appeared in a clearing of sorts. War noticed that some of the trees in the area were pushed aside, almost as if they were nothing but mere twigs. Standing in the clearing with a few of his brood was the Alpha Firehunter. War and Gaunt in unison greeted the veteran warrior and awaited his command. For his will was the will of the Queen herself.

Dark, Human, 12 years ago

With supersonic, Dark was jumping tree to tree, heading west towards the human ship when suddenly, he spotted a pool of blood, Dark jumped down to investigate, a small pig-like animal, half-eaten and dead. Dark knew the wounds on the creature and told Deathdrop and concrete_hunter
"We have Serpents in the area." It was the first time Dark had spoken on the hunt.

Deathdrop, Human, 12 years ago

"We have serpents in the area."

Not THAT name... "Serpents" was the mythological name for Xenomorphs. The story went that the Cetanu, God of Death, was jealous of Paya's ability to create life, and so tried to create some of his own. The Serpents, walking avatars of death, were as close as he could get. The other Youngbloods didn't need to hear that they were facing Death's heralds.

"They're not serpents." hissed Deathdrop over the commlink, "They're hard meat. ANIMALS. They bleed and die like anything else."

Wonderful. First time Deathdrop had heard the quiet one speak, and it was to deliver news of Xenomorph activity. It made sense. If there was a crashed human ship, the Xenos would have discovered it first. Which meant all the Yautja had to do was follow the corpses.

Dark was moving West to investigate. Good. Deathdrop followed.

Dark, Human, 12 years ago

Dark followed orders and continued west the wounds had 3 stabs on the chest and had one huge puncture mark Dark suspected they were caused by a tail and something strong that could punch and tear flesh, Dark continued west until the human ship came into view, there 2 unlucky marines were conversing in their tongue, Dark sheathed his wrist blades and used his language translator to see what they were talking about.

DarkLioness, Human, 12 years ago

DarkLioness was traveling in the direction she last detected Gaunt's scent. She also smell Waralien and FireHunter's scents in the air among other things. The smell of burning flesh and human blood made DarkLioness think back to her time before she became a member of The Hive. Holding back a growl of anger DarkLioness pressed on as she dashed through a small stream. She paused to look up towards the sky . The familier sound of a ship, a dropship to be exact, roaring overhead made the Xenomorph's lips curl back into an odd yet twisted smile. Good. More hosts for the Hive and more enemies she could sink her claws into. DarkLioness resumed her dash through the forest before she eventually slowed down and entered a clearing. In the clearing were Gaunt, Waralien, FireHunter and a few others. DarkLioness acknowledged each of her brethren with a low hiss before turning to FireHunter awaiting the next command.

Peterson, Human, 12 years ago

Trugging along through the thick jungle the APC's carrying the platoon of marines struggled to maintain speed and their spread. "Sir target is 4 clicks out" The apc driver said turning toward Peterson. "Shit Alright full stop, all marines mount up!" He shouted as the apc came to a steady halt.

"MOVE OUT!" Peterson shouted as the Marines started jumping out of the APC and taking various cover positions around the APC's forming a full 360 degree perimiter around the APC's. "Left echilon clear sir, Righ echilon clear sir, forward elchilon clear sir, rear echilon clear sir" the squad leaders all reported as Peterson stepped slowly out of the apc pulse rifle in hand. "Very well, alright lets move em out gents, stick to the plan and we'll all go home very much alive!" He said through the all hands comm link.

PREDATORv2, Human, 12 years ago

The behavior of Deathdrop and concretehunter left Predatorv2 in a perplexed state. It wasn't uncommon for certain individuals to not see eye to eye during a hunt, however this little squabble was strange. It was more a test of ether parties will, rather than a dispute of orders. The general consensus among some hunters was a kill or be killed philosophy. Concretehunter's tone towards Predatorv2 eluded to the fact that he was unaware how lucky he was. In his prime Deathdrop would have slaughtered the arrogant fool and left his body to rot.

It just solidified the issue of Deathdrop's ability to lead this hunt, Predatorv2 would have to keep a close watch on his fellow elder to hopefully avoid any unnecessary incidents. In response to concretehunter's inquiry Predatorv2 couldn't help but chuckle noisily through the comms as he departed from concretehunter's company. He wouldn't be buffaloed by some youngster, "Don't push your luck with me." Predatorv2 sneered as he increased his pace following behind Deathdrop, apparently one of youths found evidence of hard meat activity in the area. 'Humans and hard meats, this should certainly be interesting' Predatorv2 thought.

Dark, Human, 12 years ago

Dark listened as the marines squabled, they were talking about how their ship crashed and what caused it, Dark had listened enough, He wanted to end their lives quickly and silently
"I found some humans, I took some information from them I shall now kill them."

concretehunter, Human, 12 years ago

Concrete took to steps forward.

"Deathdrop with your permission?" He asked, Not even looking for confirmation he took a swing at dark cracking his visor in several places. Concrete delatched his maul and took a swing gashing Dark across his chest.

"Im tired of your shit."

Concrete proceeded to throw dark into a large tree. This drew the youngbloods attention.

Biorex98, Human, 12 years ago

Uncurling from his resting place, Bio roars as he stretches. He was haveing wonderful dreams...

Headbiteing Predators.

Breaking out of humans chests.

Great dreams. But now he must wake up.
Bio can sense he is alone in the Hive. Off in the distance he can see smoke.
He gets up and sprints towards the dense jungle.

Maybe the smoke is where my brothers and sisters have gone, he says to himself.

He can see the trampled down trees, probably made by firehunter.
I am going in the right direction, he says.

supersonicman96, Human, 12 years ago

Super had been asleep for awhile after he explored with Dark but the sound of a fight awoke him. Still drowsy from his sleep, Super thought either the hard meat or the humans had made it here first.Super unleashed a torrent of swears directed at humans and serpents. After the daze escaped from Super, he saw it wasn't humans nor serpents but two brothers battling. It was concrete and Dark.

Super had realized awhile ago that concrete was irratated by us youngbloods but he was especially upset about Dark. And now it looked like concrete was going to kill him. Super got in the way of an attack. It was a painful gash on his arm but he would live through it.

" I know that you are a higher rank then me and Dark and I know that he is anxious to get to battle, but lets let the first kill be that of prey and not brothers."

Super turned to Dark.

"we are both anxious to get into the hunt but follow the lead of the elders and when they attack, then we will hunt as well." Super looked to concrete. Super didn't know whether Concret would continue to attack his friend Dark or turn his anger against Super. Plus the elders might punish him for this.
