I still have trouble posting other people's damage etc due to my many years RPing without being allowed to do that. So it's very hard for me to win any fights at the moment, lol.

Im gonna post tomorrow, so Nikkie, if youre just going to change the mask damage to face damage then fine, but if you edit more, then tell me to wait and when you finish your post.

Just so you know, I'm not making any indication with my newest post that there is or ever has been a Queen, or that there actually are a thousand Aliens in the hive. The 'thousand eyes' is just an exaggeration, and my guy simply just doesn't have any idea that there aren't any adult Queens alive.

By the way, any of the lower-ranking Aliens can fill in my drone buddy's spot if you want, right now he's just an NPC.

Ok again your miss interpreting how im trying to be. im not at all angry. and i dont see why people think i am. now how about you stop thinking this is a serious matter. i do read other posts. but only to get the basic idea of whats going on. i never try and involve in anyone else unless they involve me first.

so if you all done trying to make a point and make yourself feel important im going to get on with the rpg.

From me, I was following someone elses lead, hoping one of the Zeno clans had a plan I could hop on board with. As is, I have no idea what direction we are going. The pred mentioned in my post was supposed to be DD, trying to get into a fight, but I dont know if that is still the case. I can go with anything.

@P: I should try the Explain less, mystify more plan sometime...

Anyway, yeah, I'm headed towards a minor mining facility first and then the main facility. I won't do anything at the minor one in the middle of the path between the ship and the main facility unless someone's over there, in which case we can probably do something.

Also, I've decided my drone buddy should stay an NPC. It wouldn't feel right kicking the ass of an actual member...

Not at all.

But since we're on the subject of confusion, are mine hard to follow at all? My thought of doubt was the only reason I ever cared to try and explain what I was saying. I won't do that anymore, but still.

Edit: Where exactly is this bone yard everyone's talking about? Is there one specific yard or is it spread all over the place? I didn't see it on the map so I'm guessing it's a part of the area's nature.

And yeah, I did read the initial post.

The boneyard was supposed to be 3 miles east of the main facility. Thats where i first mentioned.

If that doesnt seem like where it is, then i guess you could say the marines, instead of heading stright south, curved alittle in their misdirection and ended up there.

And asfar as you Bloo, i find your posts interesting, and i can follow them...

Hey, P428...

The smartgun has a longer range than the motion tracker, 35 meters won't cut it.

If you're trying to get around undetected, I'd recommend adding twenty or so meters to the distance.

As soon as you show me the quote or scene from Aliens that demonstrates this, I'll believe you.

I watched the movie last night. The motion trackers seem to have a max range of about 30 meters. Also, there is no indication whatsoever that smartguns are self-targeting or are more sensitive then the hand held motion trackers used by everyone else.

In the games - the Smartgun has tracking abilities to a fair distance, also - notice the name SMART!
If this RPG is counting all equipment from various info from games, movies & comics and novels, then the Smartguns tracking abilities should be canon.

Show me the scene when those guns were called smartguns.

We obviously need to bring in the opinion of a mod, but last I heard games and comics were not canon. Otherwise, I am strapping a pair of flamethrowers on my predator's shoulders. They were in AvP:Extinction, after all.

Besides, I can point out the scene in Aliens that shows marine motion trackers have a max range of 30 meters.

No, only the movies are canon here and that is what this RPG and every single other RPG is based on. The recent add on of the grenade launcher and minigun to the marine armament is because the movie Predator had both. So really, if any of you posted about firing 'EMP' or anything other than a simple explosive round from the grenade launcher your posts are not canon, and need to be changed.

As for the smart gun’s capabilities, whatever information you get from the movie Aliens is canon. Although I warn don't try and pull any bullshit, I've literally watched the movie a least a hundred times.

The Praetronians also have me worried. Does that mean the wierd half-queen thing or just an alpha alien?
