^No, it's fine. Like you said, there's a fail-safe, which I didn't even think of to include as a precaution - that would actually be the main back-up plan should a breach take place.
In any case, we came up with a different plan anyway. Including the hangar breach might even be good storytelling in terms of foreshadowing - maybe that's how you guys will try to get rid of Magenta later on?
Edit: Because, this being a ship from the future and how I mentioned there are probably thousands of new high-tech BS-whatevers, humans/Predators would probably be able to eject certain parts of the ship when at either of the main control rooms - one at the bottom of the ship and the one at the top.
Just remember, however, that the one at the top is the only one that has access to the self-destruct mechanism.
FH, do you think you could edit the first post of this thread to include the maps of the ship, just for easier reference?
