What was your favorite AVP video game?

I liked Predator: Concrete Jungle. The only thing that I disliked about it was the lack of totally free roam levels. AvP 2 was good too.

The first AVP for pc.it was fun with all the sound effects..avp2 was just choppy and slow for my pc so it wasnt enjoyable..thats y i like the first one more.

They might make one. They're probably trying to make it traditional (movie-wise) for a sequel, like how Aliens wasn't released right after the following years after Alien (what I mean was, it took more than two years). I don't know, maybe it's something else.

Couldn't of said it better my self (sup guys) lol just stop by to see how the website has been and yeah extinction is my Number one for me cause even though you know whats where its always fun to give hell to your enemies being in any of the three campaign andsecond best game for me is AVP2 i like first person shooters ,but not to say i hate just it could of done alittle better with Pred attacking in my opinion but th others were real good. Wonder why they never bothered to make AVP3

I know that. It just reminds me so much of an RPG, and it was kind of the closest thing to one in the AVP video-game universe. I explained that in one of my posts.

By far my favourite Alien/Predator game out there is AVP2 for PC. No other AVP game around really gives u that great special feeling that u have when u watch the classic movies. It's like playing through both the Aliens, & original Predator movie, the best of both worlds. Multiplayer is great (albiet the slightly clunky melee combat system) overall, easily the best out of all Alien/ Predator games in my opinion.

Concrete Jungle is my second favourite on the list. While the AI was terrible & I would've preferred if the preds' theme from the game wasn't so strongly influenced by AVP, it was still a reasonable enough game, although it could have been a bit more challenging, as u don't really feel like ur hunting intelligent prey that actually poses a serious threat, as the AI is so terrible u feel like ur hunting a bullseye with legs.

Oh, & on a side note, AVP: Extinction isn't an RPG, it's an RTS (real time strategy)

I always use a group only consisting of Bawlers, Disc Masters, and Military Hydras. For Aliens, it's always 1 Drone, 7 Warriors, 2 Preaotians, 1 Predalien. For Marines, I always use any combination of them. I never use the cheats to beat the game; I use them to have fun.

I know it takes some tactics, gosh now I want to play it now im talking bout it... I know a couple tactics :) a group of nothing bot "Hunter" predators, or a group of nothing but "Disc Masters" :) its hard to counter, and if your fighting a group of people use the disc masters.

That's exactly what made methink it was an RPG at first. I love that. Heh. Yeah, some people may complain that, "BUT YOU DON'T TAKE TURNS HITTING EACHOTHER UNTIL ONE IS DEAD!" there is more stragety than that. Now I'm not sayinone here is saying that, but if you are thinking that, isn't that what we do in the RPGs here? We take turns posting. I haven't been in one yet, so go ahead and say I'm wrong, but that's one of the traditional things of RPGs. You don't really control the charater, so that's why it's called more of a Role Playing Game than your regular 3rd or 1st person games. You still take control of someone in those games, but in RPGs you can take control of at least 4 different characters at a time, which makes it fun for me in my opinion.

extinction was fun, but I didnt like how you couldnt really control their moves, cos a Drone, no one in h3ll you could kill an exosuit. you can on AvP2 Online but its just really hard.

EDIT: And you can take too much damage and still live.

I have cheats on avp extinction so maybe thats why its boring now lol.

Well, it was the closest to an RPG AVP ever got. I wouldn't count AVP or AVP2 as ones because they use either 3rd person or 1st person all the time. AVP:E actually gave me a feeling that made me want to play it more... Yeah, weird life-cycle and weird yet cool Predators, but the game itself is very good in my opinion. Yeah, eh, no offense but I didn't like Primal Hunt too much. I still liked it, but it was the least I liked the most. It was just, AVP:E was almost exactly like an RPG, and it was for XBOX AND it was AVP, so yeah. The only thing that kind of makes me remember that it's not one is because there is no real battle-theme, and some things are out of place to actually be one. But like I said, my favorite AVP video-game is Alien Vs. Predator: Extinction. See, it even has a cool name.

when you cross the bridge? wait for the 3rd plasma shot to blow up the bridge then cross. and watch out for the truck once you get across the bridge, it will run over you. a Predator shot plasma in the cab and it goes out of control. if your talking bout AvP2 for PC, single player.

I meant in avp primal hunt when preds are invading the hive

I liked the first AvP for computer the second one was a lot harder(on like the first level if you get hit by a preds plasmacaster once you die)

the first AVP computer game, the second one just didnt have the same feeling :C
