You know that Fox actually wanted the predalien to cloak, use a plasma cannon and skin the preds on the scout ship? Lucky the Bros talked them out of it, the imbryo implantation made no sense but now you know how much worse it could have been.

Just a cheap gimmic to try and make more money. It really shows were the series is going.

Because of that fact, not only do I love the bros. even more, but now I hate FOX even more.

It was ok... I guess. Still I haven't figured out how the hell the spawn got from digestion system to reproductive system of pregnant women even I've been thinking about that for 5 hours by now. And what's the point if parasite is using only one gender of the species for reproduction? The usage was purely made to have some "shocking value" even it didn't bother me at all, if fact it was lamer than the normal trait for alien reproduction in my mind.

AvP-R was another flop in my mind in general - sure it had nice scenes but I couldn't care less for the people in it, nor that it would've had the same great style that the original alien or predator movies.

And wtf was the "melting the bodies" -thing when the Wolf left skinned bodies after him??

thats it, I'm getting sick of people hating a great movie, it was fine...Awesome in my opinion, It's not like you HAVE to recommend avp and avpr as a part of the originals, they're completely different movies using the same monsters, i liked the predalien, the predqueen ain't that bad either, it's almost like saying that predator: cj was bad because it added a few new weapons. But Thats just my opinion, go ahead, waste your own time bitching about the bad points instead of actually recognizing the good points.

Ummm this thread is about the Predalien, Fire... Not about how angry you are at people who don't like AvP-R heheh. Plus, if someone doesn't like it, they won't like it even if you say you're sick or mad or splashed or fried or colourful or any other adjectives.

lol Fire, opinnion is like a butthole, everyone have one of his/her own. That was simply my own judgement of the movie. Like I said it had few nice scenes but that's just about it.

Anyway, it all depends on what you wnated from the movie. The action was indeed rushed, but it was also fantastic. I really liked the movie, i can really say i liked it as much as i like the AvP1 game, which is my favourite of all AvP stuff. Even the predalien, which i hate, is like the one in AvP1 only worse looking and not explained, it was an idiotic idea, i mean, fox is fucking dumb, i really hate fox now, but whatever. Also did you notice that the predalein doesn't have acid blood? Or maybe that was just a mistake, but when the Wolf ripped "her" jaw out, all that blood should have at least burnt him in half. And it didn't happen. Nothing happened. But at least we know this time that this predalien is FOX's fault and not entirely the bros'...

Its probaly because normal aliens use the acidic blood as a defence mecanism. Remember when the alien in avp got its tail sliced off. It then used its acidic blood to hit the Predator since its best weapon was out of use. This means that the Predalien is supperior enough to out grow the acidic blood thing. Also it may have been traits from the Predator its self.

All in all the Predalien was good in design. But the skin could have been darker.

But it makes predalien weaker than a normal alien. It is hard to kill an alien 'cos you could just melt away yourself, but if you can rip and slice predalien without that effect...

ok, I'm just gonna simplify things. Some of us likes the Predalien while the rest don't like the Predalien. there simple as that.

personally i think that the predalien was the best idea visually they have ever had. THey really brought out the essence of such an evil creature. I like how in the fight it allows the pred to take off its armor and fight it head on. That was cool . But it did have its flaws aswell. Being mistaken as a "god" because of its immense killing power doesnt mean crap. it still got nuked. :) but over al t was good.

i think the pred alien was great
