Well according to wikipedia they have some good looking actresses and actors in it, probably used to have the film appeal to teens. Seems interesting to me.

It is definately taking place in a commercial area, but the directors wanted it to have a simular action feel to aliens - hence the military being involved.

I think everyone here is entitled to speculate, but as i said, untill we've all sat down and munched our way through popcorn while watching the movie, none of us really know what the script will be like.

IMOP i think it is all ball, them photos could be any thing, Terminator 4, jill kelly does the army, stuwart little 3, who knows what it was from. yes it does look like a movie set but with out seeing any preds or aliens i'm not convinced.

It talks about, on the Planetavp web site, how very sneaky fans got the shots. Honestly, we don't really know what the plot is, but I'm suspiscious that its Shane Salerno's script because his involves a sheriff in a present day town, and lo and behold, all the sites I've been to (I trust IMDB and wikipedia) list a sheriff character, and now it seems like it really will take place in an American town.

for once i agree with daveburg he does have a point the script can change at anytime there is many different scripts out there all we see is streets

Hmmmmm.....interesting, although it's also concearning, as it looks to me like those scenes take place in present day city streets. Lets just hope the majority of the movie itself has little relation.

cmon its obvious they are running with the aliens in walmart script, the fact that they are supposed to have been shoting in a forest (where in the script the pred ship crashes) and now the military thing backs it up even more. fox you've proved again you know jack all about making good films.

and yes i know im being really negative but this stuff really destroys the franchise for me, this isnt predator or alien to me its just a cash in
