So, did anybody see the post on the official "Alien" facebook page about a week ago?



Got a release date but no title. Is this Alien Covenant or something else?

Discuss your thoughts, are you excited? Apprehensive? What are your hopes and what are your fears?

It's Covenant.

Early trailer reviews are out as I type this, they say it features full on Alien action including a new 'back burster' and the good ol' Xeno we all know and love.

Far more interested in this film than 'Alien 5' - Ripley's story is done. No need to bring her back for more.

I am going to remain extremely skeptical after Prometheus. While the art looks great, I don't want to let myself be convinced by just that. I'm going to postpone caring about this movie until after I've seen it. If it makes me care on its own, then it was a good movie. But no hype.
