i say all rule but james cameron and ridley scott still own... and dave I agree with ya a runner is just a drone so it should hereby be know as the drone

I prefer the warriors from Aliens, mostly because of the way their heads allow them to perfectly blend in with the walls.

Runners are just an invented name from the games..........

And the aliens that come from different hosts are just as powerfull as normal drones that 'birh' from human hosts, the only thing that is on record as being different is thephsical appearance.

Personally, I didn't like the original giger drone that much. You could tell it was a man in a rubber suit, it was slow, intelligent yes but didn't have the same deadly appeal in my opinion as the newer & deadlier style aliens. The movie was made in ' 79 so most of these reasons are because of the effects & the fact that the alien just seemed so slow. If giger did effects on aliens today they would probably br excellent, but for me the original drone just wasn't very good. The drones from AVP were fast, deadly & very well done so there's my opinion

Giger's Drone was more of Silent A$$a$in(still not known if spelled right) type of Creature but it was still my favorite- and the Warriors are the same as Giger's Drone but they matured over time and became warriors

Now that ive seen Resurrection hundreds of times it became kinda stupid

Both Queen's were good they each fought the Hero's of the movies, both tried to bite em but their heads are kinda different that;s why i like the Empress Better.. although the Queen in Aliens had her children go up to warriors

Ok and whoever didnt post anything here yet dont talk about the DogAlien/Runner/wasgoingto Be an Ox Alien/ Drone without breathing pikes because i don't want any more discussions on that thing it's a drone but its different but most important of all it's the creature we all love so let it stay like that

i personally think the aliens and predators and queen are best seen in avp.they all have character and a certain individuality.the xenos in aliens were all the same,but in avp they were mostly different,same goes for the preds and the queen.

I prefer the drones (battle aliens as u call them) from AVP

lol a runner is a drone but it's weaker than the regular ones

plus it's called a runner when the chest burster comes out of an aniimal like a dog, cat, moose, etc.

Why does everyone think i don't know that runners are drones of course they are

but since they are different nd most dont have the breathing spikes on the backs they deserve a different name yeah u can call it what u like

and this post ws about what u think was better not what is the correctr name for a dog alien runner drone who cares it's a Xenomorph and let it stay like that

i like the alien from the first movie and to be trouth fal i always thaught the "wariors" in the second movie wer the same as the drone in the first

That's just a damn stupid name invented for the cheesey games, it's just a drone alien with altered DNA patterns due to difference of host.

Gigers drone was awsome, but i love the warrior aliens too.

Giger was awsome but it wasn't as ctive as the now Battle Aliens(drones) that appear in Alien Resurrection and AVP
