Why in he alien movies does the acid seem to be getting watered down? in alien 1 when they cyt the facehuggers finger the acid melted through 3 decks of the notromo yet in resurrection it couldn't even burn through christies face & in AVP it could barely burn through lex's jacket?
acid is formed from the aliens body right but if has to keep most of the aicd its body would be able to move faster as i noticed it the fisrt 2 aliens so maybe they started doing that

it was me that deleted that post some know it all come in there and answered his question so he editied the whole thing so i got him to start a new one about what he changed the thread to if that makes sense
Who knows, maybe quantity matters. Could just be movie blooper time, you know how it goes, they try so hard to maintain continuity but ultimately, fail.
I suppose. But what about when he shovs hishand on the acid on his pants & it starts burning his finger. Why does he still even have his whole finger after that?
The issue with that is, we see the first time the acid drops, it goes on his leg, we see it eat through his trousers, the second time, we are not at an angle to judge how much damage the acid cause to his ear, plus, it was just a single drop of acid, when they lazer the facehuggers knuckle in alien, i'd estimate about quarter of a cup of acid flowed out.
but what about when vriess shot the alien with the shotgun & the acid fell on his ear & then he didn't even have a scar. Half his face should've been burnt off
hmmm not sure about this one either the preds put to much crack in the queens blood system or it was another one of chubby chop's f*ck ups, i liked the acid in aliens that stuff burnt like hell and seemed more real the acid in avp looked like syrup
There was a post on this yesterday but seems to have been deleted.
The acidic content that the alien produces when they spit is of a lower potency than the blood that flows through their bodies - this is evident in the scene in alien3 where the alien spits in the face of Murphey in the air shaft - the acid didn't kill him but was strong enough to burn into his flesh.
yes dr.who has 100000000000s butn the point of this site is 2 discuss these things
i search all day for intruders of my hive the queen must be safe thats how we stay alive i tear apart any life that comes near i am a warrior so all preds fear! for the might of the lone predalien will come and every living thing near will succumb....
well, in AvP it is set many years before every other one of the alien films. Is there a possibility that over time, the aliens acid had grown and adapted to be a much higher concentration of acid over the time that it's had to evolve, especially if other species have been adapted into it. If you look closely the Queen in AvP does look quite different to the one in Aliens and Alien 4, of course that has a lot to do with film technology of course, but because it's set so far in the past I believe that could be a possibility.
