Bit confused right now on the situation we got going on.

So, we got the Yautja inside the city, waiting for the humans to move in when there's already people in there...

I'm completely lost on the Xenomorphs. They said something about a guard tower and sewer grate in their last post... So I got no idea where they are.

The Marines are still in the city, regardless of how many times we told 'em to get out, and now they attacked Saysell without much reason... So DBO's completely against us, then?

This right, or did I miss something else?

Well I was going of the priciple of dont shoot me and I wont shoot back, but TDN quickly broke that (so to speak). So I responded in kind. If you still need my help someone from WY better get on my radio channel and talk me into coming to help with the xenos and preds.
Aint they just massing around the centre preparing to move in, or stalking around your base. Something like that. I know the xenomorphs have all been called back to the queen, and TDN started to follow them till Malus gave the order to recall and me and him got a little tangled up so to speak.

The Queen Mother has executed a mass attack from all of the manholes around the area of the central building. That includes every single xenomorph, players and NPCs. Hundreds going out from all directions into the city and seeking to infiltrate the human base while attempting to destroy the Yautja.

A mere 150 will be guarding the central building above and below, me included. I've no idea who's joining me.

Hmmm. Well, I'd call for you myself in the RP, but my charrie doesn't know your channel. I mean, I don't personally know just how big the fight's gonna be, but it sounds big, so the extra help's always nice. Gotta get Malus on that one.

That was what I thought, too. But then the post was made about the bugs moving out and saying something about sewers and guard towers. Bloo, what "central building" are you speaking of, exactly? One in the middle of the city, or our base?

-Bloo-, Xenomorph, 15 years ago

The one in the very middle of the city in which the xenomorphs use to escape at night. There are entrances around the area in the form of manholes.

I'm not entirely sure about the guard towers, Waralien had come up with that one and from what I know, the idea still needs to be approved.

Slayer: Sure thing mate, just wanted to shoot something, y'know how it is.

EDIT: Edit done. I simply made the shot a clean miss. There we go.

And D_W, one of your first posts talking with saysell. You mention a radio that you're listening in on the marine frequency with. Sadly, W-Y radios are good. Anti-eavesdropping devices and all.

dw and shadow aren't you guys like adults but you guys fight like little children you guys should mellow out and be friends for once

Sam-Jack-Dunn, Xenomorph, 15 years ago

Nah prob. It was a cheap shot, I knew that from the start. Couldn't resist, though. Heh heh.

I love railguns.

xeno_slayer, Xenomorph, 15 years ago

I'll be sure to take note of it's epicness in my next post.

Anti-eavesdropping devices? Do tell how your device would know that my radio picked up yours.

Sam-Jack-Dunn, Xenomorph, 15 years ago

All W-Y and AD radios have IFF tags. The channel host (a big radio in the command tent) sends a small pulse with every radio signal, and counts the amount of return pulses it gets from the radios. It uses a combination of technologies that Xavier would probably be able to explain (being the unit's programmer) to detect any eavesdropping. It can only detect if eavesdropping is happening. It can't tell who or even how many.

Radios are one way, they don't transmit something when they pick something up, those are calle telephones. But you could drop all this and say you saw me with your sniper while i was pointing the radio at saysell right after you broadcast your message?

Actually, the Radioes used by the Norwegian Forces TODAY are all digital, with a self upgrading encryption on pre-programed times.

This basically means, if you DON'T have a radio SPECIFICALLY tuned to the WY channel AND our standing encryption, you cannot listen to our chatter at all.

Also, the last thing a marine (or a solder) would to, is to simultaneously press three yellow buttons on the display, wiping the radio clean. This radio can in some cases be connected to a persons life signs, like pulse. (meaning if that a persons hard doesn't beat in over 40 sec, it beeps, to warn the trooper before after a minute, being wiped)

Also, these radios can send encrypted text messages to a specific preprogrammed unit within its range.

I hope this explained a few things.

It wasn't quite helpful but it was interesting anyway. Well i might not have explained in the post my whole idea of how my radio can pick up some of your normal messages. It analyzes many frequencies at a time and isolates some specific radio wave patterns or signatures and lets me hear those. I didn't say it could decrypt messages or anything and i don't pick up everything you talk amongst yourselves.

But there is no way to tune into a Digital Frequency and hear words,

This is because when a word is spoken into a radio, it is made into a bunch of 0 and 1 (I'm not allowed to tell you much more about that) but in any case you need another radio with the same updated encryption program to get the 0 and 1 back into words

DeathWraith, Xenomorph, 15 years ago

Huh didn't even get to see it. There's a "delete" button for when you don't want it there anymore.

Anyway, it's nice that we're all rescuing girls.

vevlaa, Xenomorph, 15 years ago

That was my point :P (If anyone of you wonder what this was about, I just messed up a post before fixing it)

Edit:

But again, There is no way to tap into a Digital Radio Frequency and hear words.

Why thau ask??

Read my 2 previous posts.

DeathWraith, Xenomorph, 15 years ago

It's not tapping >.>
