why cancel aliens: colonial marines

i think it really stinks that EA games canceled aliens: colonial marines. From what i saw it looked like a good first person shooter. Besides if they made there decision on the turn out of AVP. The box-office result was ok. i just don’t get it

PS. i want a new alien or predator game on PS2
