who would you chose and why

sorry about my last topic (my brain still hurts just thinking about it) so if you had a best friend that was either an alien or a pred which would you choose btw they were just like any human just not human.

I say a pred because then he could steal stuff for me plus food would never be a problem due to his hunting skills.
