Alright, we all know that scene in Predator where Blain gets hit with something just before he gets the plasma caster, right? Well what was that something? I thought it was a piece of meat at first, but it looked painful.

well i did slow-mo and paused it on that scene once. it looked like a straight line of light blue stuff. i thought it was maybe a spear or a light plasma shot. i dont know.

im pretty sure that it was a plasma shot grazing his arm, but i may be wrong

i thought it was a plasma shot, intended to turn him around so the pred wouldnt have to shoot him in the back, a warning shot?

I have slo-moed through than scene many times & honestly, the object was fired at him, not tossed. Which pretty much rules out the throwing chunks of flesh or blood at him. My guess is that it was from a weapon which wasn't revealed in the movie. It wasn't a caster shot, because you can hear the trademark "crack" of the caster firing a mile away, my guess is that it may have been a round from the speargun fired as a warning shot
