I think the xenos in AVP were deformed or something. First of all, they all look more like the the Ressurection aliens then the warriors from Aliens(and why would they look like the drones from Ressurection? They weren't crossed with humans or anything.) Second, their acid seemed weaker. Third, those things were on freaking steroids or something, holy ! ONE of them bumped off two armed preds in like, 30 seconds. Forth, (and this had me confused) there were more xenos then there were hosts! How did that happen?! I think that hormone that got injected into the queen(read the book) did somethin' to the kids, cause there was SOMETHING wrong with them. Plus, the queen had PMS like crazy! Anyone got an explination?

I think they were like 5 or 10 hosts not sure?

that's bullsh!t, in the previous alien films Ripley stated that the aliens were over 8 feet tall. Dunno where the hell the got 6'6" from. arnie is that tall for gods sake!!!

As Ripley stated in an account during her time on Fury 161, Andrews repeats "it's an 8 foot creature of some sort, with acid for blood and arrived on your spaceship"

ahhhh, that's better, those pills are good!! heh, it was alien 3 when she describes to andrews about the alien. I just got a little knarked that paul anderbum reckons an alien is the same size as arnie. Hmmm. If only he made AVP the way he made Event Horizon, thingswould be different....sniff sniff.

Ok, the alien tackled the two predators with ease seeing it was the first born, the alpha alien - it was the leader of the pack and a lot bigger and stronger than the rest. (all this is stated in the novel)you have to remember, predators without plasma casters aren't really that much of a match for the aliens. Plus Chopper wasn't paying attention and Celtic got too cocky. i didnt actually think the aliens in resurrection were bad at all, there were only a few subtle differences to them. the drones looked this way because they were only young, they hadn't had time to develop and shed their domed skulls which would mark their maturity as an adult warrior. The Queen was understandably p!ssed off having been in captivity for 100 hundred years, i guess she thought it was high time to stretch her legs. The fact does remain though that there did seem to be more aliens than hosts, but, my question would be - is anyone sad enough to watch the film back and count how many aliens there were compared to hosts......

was it in aleins when she said they were 8ft tall when she describing to the "board" what happened to the first ship??
