So what did Jesse Ventura get hit with just before the Predator shot him?

Philosophers have pondered the question for years. Was it a chunk of one of the many dead guys? Some sort of miniature speargun? A CRUMPET WITH A BIT OF JAM? Some fucking thing hits Jesse Ventura in the shoulder just before he gets lasered, though, and I think the Bush Administration had something to do with it.

In all seriousness, so many questions. Why would the pred throw it? A distraction? An attempt at mockery? Some sort of ritual? I think it's a chunk of one of the rebels, personally. The pred wanted to give the poor bastard juuuuuuuust the smallest bit of a chance before he offed him. Like a "I've got a cloaking field; I've gotta at least give him a CHANCE..." kind of a thing.
