why does the predator skin its prey and string them up, why not just collect there sculls.

Thay only collect skulls from the prey which they defeat in hand to hand combat. they skin the prey to warn off others & to show their kills with pride

I think they have the most wicked collection I`ve ever seen;) I have couple of animal skulls of my own, but they were died in natural (well, if road kills are natural...) way. My parents weren`t pleased when I boilled them up;D Hmm... Maybe I revealed too much, but I couldn`t help it;D

my theory on why the preds hang there pray upsidedoun is marck the area to other preds as a good unting ground or to marck thats the ground is already bening used by a nother clan

Kinda. I've noticed that preds really only take trophies of prey that they defeat in 1 on 1 hand to hand combat & they skin & hang the rest.

It's all a show of sheer dominance, the predators like to intimidate their future oposition by showing their prowess in killing.
