Short Wristblade

he bends his hand down, and they werent very good back then.

The reason the blade's can cut thro enything is they are sharpend by laser's to the last atom making them able to cut thro enything like cheese wire cuting thro cheese.They do go past the wrist just not far they extend just past the hand and as sum1 said in avp they have an extended wrist blade making them easyer to hit thing's with the longer blade.Mabye the reason predator 1 & 2 only had short wrist blade's because they were noob's which went thro alot of training making them gd but they bought alot of gear(pred's must have sum kinda money)Cause they had disc's wrist blade's and plasma caster's.But in avp they had very little weapon's because they were noob pred's plus there plasma cater's were supplyed for them.So in other word's The pred's in 1 & 2 ran out of money to upgrade there wrist blade's but in avp the pred's must have bought the upgrade for there wrist blade's.Hope you understand what iv just said.lol.

Well on the avp movie the predator can turn its wristblades around but that not it the wrist blades are longer than a predators hand ive seen on all the preadator movies{and Games}.i think i know what you saw the preds wristblades can get shorter and longer Celtic did it in the avp movie

Well if you watch closly the wristblades do a growing and shrinking act just like the grid alien's tail in AVP, but see the deal was that these predator's wristblades would retracked all the way into the container, unlike in Predator where the wristblades wouldnt retracked fully. Just a different directors take on the weapon.
