To join a clan you make a request in the official request topic of the respective clan. Things that may lower your chances to join a clan are requesting in multiple clan's request topics, spamming, being inactive and showing that you haven't read the rules by making threads like this.

Yeah, joining a clan may actually turn you into a nice guy who respects other people's opinions in stead of just becoming an asshole who thinks he's liek teh gratets meind on teh internetz lul like several people in this thread have become due to staying out of a clan for too long.
