well it depends on the yautja in question. ones mask is very differnt than anothers. each mask refelcts one personality in some way. so it hard to say not all masks are acid proof. its just that one could say that scar chose for his not to be so it could bear the same tribal markings as his skin.

Yea they are definitely not acid proof like you said remember in AVP when scar marked himself with the acid of his victim.
