It's a tough one. They were both shit. But I think OVERALL AvP was a better film but I would rather watch Requiem.

AVPR was just too fan filmish for me, most of the acting was shit, they destroyed the aliens with their predalien queen bullshit. They wasted too much time paying omage to the other movies and forgot about their movie. The biggest thing AVP has over AVPR is an intelligent director who has experience in making full blown movies and not just commercials and music videos. Sure AVPR had good special effects and gore, but it lacked out everywhere else. As we've learned from Alien, acting can make or break a film.

AVP: 8.5/10
AVPR: 3.5/10

God this is tough both films had their own pros and cons. AVP had the better story and characters. But AVPR had alot more action. In my opinion AVP was better.

Meh i liked AVPR alot better then AVP.
