Put in seventeen hours helping my Dad reopen a restaurant for his new boss that bought the place, while I was sick, and I had to wear a fucking respirator for my all three of my shifts because they're turning the place into a Peanut Pub like Cheers was, of which I am allergic to.

Get my paycheck? Less than minimum wage when I know everyone else was getting $10 an hour.



@Bloo: Well, I can only see you having problems from this if you attempt to initiate this while your still part of their class/if they are married. Just hit them up in casual conversation a few times and sort of probe around the subject without seeming tooooo interested(if possible) would be my best advice. If it has a ring on it, DON'T fuck it.

Either that or go buy some vaseline and tissues and load up on porn.

@SR: Dang....is there anyway you could appeal that? It's definitely not right to underpay you if you put in the same hours as everyone else. Though my question is are you under employment of this business or were you doing this as a favor for your father?

@Tawg & P13: I was mostly doing it as a favor for my father, but I was working the same as everyone else and got paid by the owners like everyone else. The only difference is everyone else has experience and training in cooking professionally. That being said, I did help prep steaks and my brother(who also cooks for a living) said I was really good at it. But ultimately I was doing the same things as everyone else.

Part of the discrepancy turns out to be two of the hours I worked got cut since they were incredibly slow, which is understandable, but I still got paid shit. I'm not going to contest it because I don't want to possibly stir up trouble for my Dad at his job.

@SR: I don't even really watch porn anymore. I'm just... so tired of it. Lots of it is unenjoyable either because the sex just sucks or it's super misogynistic for whatever reason (which just makes for some really awkward or uncomfortable scenes). And Hentai is always awkward. Japanese porn is just so weird in general. I mean the girls are hot but do they even enjoy themselves? They're not even having sex, they're just having sex done to them and it's super weird. Why do they squeal like that. Porn is bad

Anyways Valkyrie Drive: Mermaid is the best show I've ever watched (don't look it up on a shared pc)

Edit: That really sucks about the pay. I know you can't really do anything about it, so I hope it's not getting you down too much.

I watched the first episode of Valkyrie Drive a while ago and couldn't get into it. Should I give it better shot by watching a few more episodes or is it just going to be more of the same without getting better?

Nah I was joking, it's probably some of the dumbest shit I've seen story-wise but its fan service is good. Especially because it's not subtle about the rest of the show just being an excuse for the nudity.

I still hope that one day I can watch Burst Angel. It seems actually interesting, but I can't afford to burst that many angels. My body is already weak.

Plot aside, it seems interesting because the guy wanted to be a pastry chef instead of whatever he is now, so now I wanna watch it.

@Tawg: I can't even really think of any fan service-heavy shows that aren't also the worst things I've ever seen, but some pretty decent/good ones with lots of mild fan-service are Kill la Kill, Panty & Stocking, and Prison School (the last of which for real is one of the most entertaining things I've ever watched/read just for the sheer stupidity of it, not counting the actually really nice art).

If you want real recommendations, you should watch Bakuman, Hanasaku Iroha, or Shirobako.

Did you watch any anime this season? I haven't seen any for the past 2-3 seasons but a few from the winter season caught my eye.

I haven't watched anything since One Punch Man. I should probably just finish Kill La Kill. M-maybe. I'm still only on episode 5 or something.

OPM is one of the more entertaining things I've read; I love it. I haven't watched the anime adaption beyond ep 3 yet but Madhouse is doing a great job so far.

Yeah, Kill la Kill isn't the best thing ever. I enjoyed it for what it was, but if you don't like Gurren Lagann you're probably not gonna feel much better about KLK.

Edit: I do love Satsuki and Mako though.

Overlord is a favorite of recent seasons for me. I enjoyed OPM it was very entertaining. It is hard to describe KLK but it did have that over-the-top quality that's perfect for if you in the mood for that. Lately I have been watching 3 series closely. GATE has been pretty good. Assassination Classroom is as fun as ever. And I had one hell of a good time watching Snow White with the Red Hair.
