i was talking about the thing thats only on the first drone,its between the breathing thingies

it isnt on any other alien in the series

No, That was the Original Design but because of The Runner in Alien3, they had to take that thing away because from Alien3 to AVP the Aliens had to go on All fours, making their head go up to where That spike thing was

Just my idea, maybe someone else has another idea

The dorsal horn behind the head was on the xenos in Alien and Aliens. None of the others have it.

yeah pretty much what DD said, it was a curved spine-like oblect, it was only in alien & aliens, but the new style aliens don't have it
