new alien info

ok im reading the book aliens original sin
and for those who dont know its a book that is basicly alien 5 (what happens after ressurection)
so far this is what i have learned
the earth government or earthgov as its reffered to in the book was having a war with some people in a series of orbital domes
they needed a "bioweapon" to finish them off
meanwhile another organization called "loki" has made contact with the alien race known as the space jockeys. who just so happen to have a bioweapon!
im not sure on some of the details here (as ive left the book at school lol) but i think what happened is they sent a group to lv 626 knowing there was a downed space jocky ship there that had free alien eggs on it
that group's aim was to bring an egg back
they died
so then they decided on a new plan, bring an alien back inside of someone!
at that time the andriod ash wasnt among the nostromo's crew but the current science officer suddenly...dissapeared lol
so earthgov replaced him with ash who's mission was to ensure that the alien made it safely back to earth
there u guys know the rest!
any thoughts?

dude that wasnt the plot of the book it was just the info about the alien origen that ive learned from it
and DD i hope they do cause it would make a lot of sense
u should read it u wont regret it!

Well it sounds like the same old alien movies, nothing new, out in space wheare were no one can hear you scream, I hope later in the book it has something new, like a carnege or toxide alien.

No, it means that the book is a part of actual Alien continuity. I'm not sure where they stand on that.

does that mean that if there ever was an alien 5 it would have the plot from origonal sin?
