Is the Monster Xenomorph based on Plankton?

Ok, that is creepy, really creepy. the picture where its in the tubular thing, looks like a Xenomorph egg. But the creature itself has an uncanny resemblance to the queen alien. I would guess it was partly used in the design.

Interesting yet disturbing all at the same time. I love it. The two look very much alike you have to admit.

Ahhhhh, the miracles of nature, birth, using your preys corpse as a house.

I think it could be entirely possible that this might of been the basis for the Alien Queen, there are many things in the World, nay, the Universe that have only been seen or discovered by few, or none at all, we always have more to see or learn, this is just one of those diverse creations.
