i'm not sure the question, shadow i cant understand.
do u mean how does the alien communicate with chestburster inside ripley when he almost attacks her but doesn't?
if thats the question i would say pheremones. its the scent or smell animals use to communicate or to know who is who in the animal world. xenomorphs must communticate same way, so the xeno 'smelled' the chestburster in ripley.
