I have a theory on the Alien

The slime on the alien acts much like the mucous in our stomachs. It protects the creature from its own acidic blood. And BTW, I'm mainly talking to Dave but anyone who has read the AvP novel and liked it I agree. Just finished it, and as Dave said, it is much better than the movie.

i think all the thing in the little bits of tings they ingest turns into the resin and or suliva there's more to that theory but i'm lazy
