how long it take for one alien to destroy coloney on planet

Depends on situation and environment. If it's a standard colony simular to that of hadleys hope with minimal weaponry, then the alien would have a distinct advantage, quickly dispatching of any threats and claiming the healthier, stronger humans to use as hosts for the breeding of a superface hugger which would spawn a queen - this of course would accelerate the alien re-population and would rapidly make short work of the colony. If you use Aliens as a benchmark, then it should take roughly around two weeks for the aliens to take complete control.

has for a planet, it depends is it a small planet with a small population or a big one where if something happens they send in a platoon of guys. A platoon would wipe out the aliens before they got far.

well StLkEr222 thats not neccesarily true i mean look at aliens: earth hive (god i love this book)when the marines wiped out nes queens got smart and spreaded the eggs. if they get a foot hold hey will eventually over run in the book it was over the course of 1 year for the planet earth
