how do predators make weapons resistant to alien blood

They either treat their weapons with a special chemical to resist the effect of the acid, or they bond the chemical into the material the equipment is made from while creating it.

It's possible this chemical is taken from the aliens themselves, as it has been shown that they are immune to the effects of their own blood...harvesting the compounds from their bodies which make this possible is the most likely method the predators use to treat their equipment to resist the corrosion effect of the acid.

Anyway, we saw the first predator in AvP-r carefully peeling the skin off the alien's head and since he obviously wasn't gonna mark his territory with that alien after skinning it, i assume there was some other purpose to this, which brings us back to what Stalker said.
