Elite predator did he have a plasma caster?

Did the elite predator in AVP3 have a plasma caster? Cause f he did he could have shot Six of him when Six pinned him down or maybe he was in so much pain he couldnt activate it.

Predators work through pain. Whether it be a stab in the shoulder or having their entire arm ripped off. So pain being the factor in keeping the Pred from using his weapon may not have been an issue. It was probably more for the plot.
