I was watching a vid Stalker put up on the Video Topic, the "Glass Shatters" one. Anyway i saw that Dutch got hit with a plasma bolt in the chest, and remembered but barely had any damage except to his shoulder, Any ideas on why?

It seems like a goof in the movie. Pretty much is the simplest explanation in my opinion. Predator was not a very well made movie by any means.

Hmmmm, i was thinking(kinda) and i was thinking it could have been shrapnel, but that wouldnt explain no chest wounds.
Also, was there like a time erase or something?

Anyway, What I was going to say is that it was like in Predator2 how Keys survived the plasma bolt.

wow, the server ate my initial post. Anyways, I was trying to say that I assume keyes dodged the plasma at the last second which impacted the wall behind him and marked his face with the burnt residue.

So the dutch explination is pretty much movie goof? Since it was in the forest i dont think the bolt could put residue only on his shoulder, plus we saw the bolt hit.
