Yea, they show that conceptual art on the special Alien DVD. Apparently they made it into a full size model, and everyone laughed at it, calling it a turkey. So another artist redesigned it while Giger worked on the facehugger.

Heheh, have to agree, the other designs for that thing would of saved it, assumed that it was only ruined mostly by its looks, little on how it acted. But I still hate everything about it.
