bad to be honest the part that pissed me off was how chopper and celtic got killed right after another i mean they could have made more predators with the movie too that would have made it better

Well the novel has more Preds in it (I think, I can remember a godamn thing), you should read it sometime, it's much better in my opinion. But of course it wasn't the actual-actual movie nor did it have the Newborn in it... but that's just me...

I just watched it again and here is what i think...

Good aspects:
It does offer a plausable explanation to the extremely quick dissappearance of the mayan and aztec civilisations, to why they had walls made of human skulls, to why the egyption gods all had animal heads, to why and how they built the pyramids.

I liked the part when that last pred cought the chestburster, snapped it`s neck and then shook his head and made that "crrrr" sound, that was funny.

Very bad stuff:
The behavior of the humans in the movie can be precisely described as being dumb! The behavior of the predators is in many cases unlikely and unjustified. Also the behavior of the queen was unlikely, i mean why in hell would she tell the drones to hert her, in stead of herting eachother, they have acid too you know!!!
The predator and drone heads were wronglydone compared to those of the original aliens and predators, heads you will see in AvP2 too.
Some of the messages in that pyramid were dumb...
"They gave their lives so the hunt could begin" - that`s like you writing on your frindge "This is where we used to eat stuff from". A more appropriate expression would be "You give your lives for the hunt!" which would make it seem more like an honor, though i have no idea why a civilisation trained to consider the Yautja gods would call them hunters...
Now for some stupid situations:
They get to that pyramid and go up the stairs. The first thing anyone would notice are the two kneeling Yautja statues, but wtf, why would they care, they go right in.
They get to the "Sacrificial Chamber". They look at the dead bodies. All the dead bodies have face huggers on their faces or next to their faces, but who cares, they talk about other stuff, like why the chest is opened.
Lex goes to the predator, right after she killed the drone, knowing that the preds were considered gods. Now who runs to a god and says "I`m coming with you, you ugly son of a bitch" or something like that... i`ll tell you who, someone with not such a good script...
The queen... Why in hell would the queen ask some drones to hert HER instead of herting EACHOTHER so that she could escape??? That is just stupid!!!
Also the queen escaped the wrist bomb. Congratulations queen, you are as tough as Arnold! If they knew the queen could escape a bomb, why didn`t they tak bigger ones...?

Aaaand i... think that`s... kinda everything... there were other dumb stuff added from nowhere, like "La Luna d`el Caciadore". But that`s all i remember now, ok.
