AVP or REZ ?

Rez was very good flick,not a mainstream popular movie but a good one, but avp was fun and plus it was the first flick that had aliens and predators fighting

It is a fansite, hence why differing opinions are welcome. As far as AvP goes, no, we do not need to "own up" to anything. Some liked it, some didn't. It boils down to opinion.

i still think avp was better than rez..i dont think it was rubbish even though there was alot to change in it,call me imature if u want i just dont care..i liked the movie

Hey, none of that now. Any, I would think of Resurrection being better. In terms of story and acting compared to AVP, anyway. If I compared the two with everything they had, it would be AVP. But quantity doesn't count, quality does. Yeah, AVP was done very good in a lot of places like the designs, the scenery, the stuff like that, but I would think Alien Resurrection would be better.

Compared to the rest of the quidrilogy, Alien: Resurrection is my least favorite film for a number of reasons that I'm too lazy to put up. Aliens was the best in the series, ALIEN is almost tied with Aliens, Alien 3 was a very good one but I think was too underated, Alien: Resurrection, yeah, *cough* go ahead and put in a Newborn and say, "Hey maybe the fans will like this thing," yeah, not the best idea.

Certainly not a tie for me .... Cory , what ever man, it may be a fansite but that dosent mean we have to be childish about the situation , were all mature here, we can face up to the fact that avp was rubbish ... REz was reasonable, but is often compared to the other 3 movies were i just fails to compare

About a tie. It's been a while since I've seen either one.

AVP & resurrection both had their good & bad points. Resurection had a very dark & visceral tone to the movie, & was by far the most violent in the series. Although violence counts for nothing if the movie is shoddy, & I can honestly say that resurrection wasn't half bad, up until the last 15 mins or so of it anyway.

AVP was a movie that we were all expecting to be brilliant. Alot of us had been waiting many years for the confrontation. The final result wasn't exactly what we were expecting though. I can't say that I flat out hate AVP, because I don't, it's a movie that I still enjoy watching, it's become the movie that I just stick on when there's nothing else to watch. Admittedly, it had quite a large amount of flaws if u really add them up & the way that the aliens & preds were portrayed in the movie doesn't really pay much homage to their far superior predecessors, but overall, it was a decent enough movie that tried (somewhat unsuccessfully) to do something different with the two great franchises.

Honestly if I had to give either of them a score out of 10 I'd rate resurrection at a 6.5 & AVP at a 7.
