AVP 2 full game + online play

Download the full 1.5.1 installer bellow

Obviously then click 'Find Internet Games' and your set to go..

i extracted it...
I installed it at C:\Program Files\Fox\Aliens vs. Predator 2

then i go to the AVP2 folder i saw the AVP2Serv.exe and i runned it. "ERROR unable to setup the network game server"

k then i tried the autoupdate and i get this window with a button 2 on it and when i click it says
"I/O Error 123"
So what's the problem? :p

Your not meant to extract it (and I properly should've mentioned that in my OP). Anyway, Click the 'file icon' right after the download finishes, and you'll get a screen which is a simple step-by-step process that will allow you to play online...

Let me know if it works, or if your having any other issues

Oh and remember, click 'cancel' when the in-game menu asks you for a update. It's not required, and it doesn't even work; hence your "button 2" screen dump your receiving.

Euhm when i donwloaded the file it was a zip file right so i clicked on it as you said and opened it and then the instal.exe was run.

so it has the same result if i extract it. But your method just saves some time but i still can't get it working. after the instal is done i went to the folder and tried to run the "AVP2Serv.exe" file but i get the error "unable to setup the network game server" so i tried to run the "AutoUpdate.exe" file then i get a messagebox "check for updates?(program may appear to be doing nothing,IT IS, DON'T CLOSE IT)"

so could you be a little more specific :D


And srry for asking so much of you, maybe i'm doing something dumb anyway thx for trying to help me out so far :D

I cant be anymore specific because you've met all the requirements on whats needed to play (according to my knowledge ofcousre). Have you by any chance tried clicking 'cancel' to the in-game update I told you about, and see if any servers come up after hitting 'Find Internet Games?'

If nothing is working, then I advise you ask here http://www.lithfaq.com/

Those guys actually created all the add-on patches to go online, so trying asking on the forum section, and they'll more then likely solve your problem

I am new to this community and happy to be part of it. I am a software engg working in a organization since 4yrs. I love to play online internet game. Well do not mind but right now I don't have sufficient information but If in future I got than definitely I will share with you guys. I have news for the people those are interested in video game. I have it and primal hunt expansion I got it off amazon try there it wasn't to much.
