Any update regard of the AVP movies...?

Untill we get a solid script and an actual director signing up for the movie, you will not hear anything that is concrete information on this film, most of it is all hearsay and nothin but rumour.

I've actually come across a screencap of the filming of AvP2. Remember, these are early screens, so the effects aren't done just yet. But I assure you, this is the real deal*.

Lol I actually went to the link expecting the real deal. Good one DD. And about A-v-P-2, I've heard from numerous sources, including one that I trust above all the others, comingsoon.net, that the release date is already slated for the film. It will open in cinemas on August 10th, 2007. I believe that as well, after hearing it from at least 5 solid sources.
