ALIENS COLONY MINIATURE SET HELP!!!!

My youtube channel is MrALIENSVSPREDATOR and I've been recently engaged in 1/6th scale stop motion and 7 inch stop motion with neca and hot toys figures. I've ran into a problem that I have been stumped on for a few months and now have given up almost all hope! I need to find a material that I can use to simulate grated floors like in Aliens (I'm currently working on Aliens 5 stop motion fan film, it is going to be over an hour). I need help building a colony interior much like hadleys hope on lv 426. I already have wiring and tubes that act as the pipes running through the colony but I need help with the doors and frame work....I want something similar looking to the booth display for necas series 1 aliens( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D7KUMqjfqp0 and pause at 1:17 - 1:26) . If you watched the video you noticed the grated floors and the objects on the wall and designs on the door that make it look more futuristic and mechanical, please help me find material for the grated floor and wall designs!!!!
