Alien 3 screwup...

Ok, we know the xenos breathe through their tubes, right? We also know that they can create hive structures without help. Here's the wierd part: The xeno in Alien 3 had no tubes, and never made any "hive" structure. What gives? Can anyone figure this out?

The runner didn't posses the dorsal tubing as it's DNA structure was different, it wasn't bipedal so the tubing would have got in the way.
Plus a 'runner' doesn't have 'jobs' that's just a load of bull made up in the games.

i use net gun,combat stick(acid proff),smart disk,2rist blades,and predator armor,3 shurckens,pred helmet with heat and alien seancers,all so i can think about my options and i have a great.

But then what would explain the tubes running along their head and the ones on their back (the big tubes)? I mean, what's the purpose for a Xeno to have it?

Yeah, runners are really just warriors. So I guess it just relocated the breathing to another part of his body...
