In alien 3 the runner got doused in the hot lead & survived so why did the queen chestburster inside ripley die in the lead? maybe it's skin wasn't adapted or something what u guys think?

The skin of the chestburster has yet to develop into the chitinous exoskeleton the older xenomorphs posesess, this hardening of the skin begins once the chestburster first sheds its skin.
